Purpose & Impact of Position: Safely drives clinic to and from partnership site
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 1+ days/month 7:10 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST on clinic days (flexible hours for other tasks)
- CDL Class B (or higher) and endorsement for air brakes
- Will receive code for alarm and set of keys
Volunteer Work Location(s): On-site clinics (Athens, Crab Orchard, Decatur, Gatlinburg, Rutledge, Washburn)

Driver ChecklistPosition Details:
- General:
- Reads and abides by vehicle manual
- Arrives by 7:10 a.m. to clinic storage facility and conducts pre-check of vehicle to ensure it is road worthy with adequate diesel fuel, oil, transmission fluid, proper functioning air brakes, etc. (see checklists in appendix for more details)
- Drives to partnership site (departs Warehouse 8 a.m. to arrive before patients)
- At site, driver can perform any job qualified/trained for as needed/desired
- Coordinates with Site Manager and Nurse Manager regarding any concerns, issues, and/or needs throughout clinic day
- Other tasks:
- Fills-up diesel fuel after every other site visit on the way back to Knoxville
- Drives clinic to maintenance services as needed
- Drives clinic to be washed occasionally
