April is National Child Abuse
Prevention Month!
CASA of the Tennessee Heartland is
Partnering with The Family Justice Center of Oak Ridge
to provide a free event to spread awareness for child abuse prevention!
The Free Event will be
Wednesday April 17th from 2-4 pm
in the historic Jackson square Oak Ridge Tn.
We encourage everyone to show their support for Child Abuse Prevention Month by wearing blue.
There will be a Backpack/Art supplies drive (while supplies last) as well as a Bike helmet fitting by ORPD (for the first 50 children). Helmets were donated by the Pilot club of Oak Ridge.
FREE Kona ice for all children that attend(one treat per child).
FREE regular size brewed coffee for parents courtesy of Calamity Coffee.
Both agencies will have information on the services they provide as well as other helpful prevention resources.
