The STAR Center, Inc.

The STAR Center, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1988. We are headquartered in Jackson, TN, but serve all 95 counties in Tennessee in some capacity. The STAR Center's mission is where compassion, technology, and independence come together to create individualized success. Our mission gives us a constant and shared purpose. It guides us on every decision we make, large and small. We strive to help any person with any disability realize their potential.

Our services include assistive technology, employment services, at-home care, music therapy, vision services, speech therapy, a reading clinic, and Ria’s Heart—our art therapy program. Through these programs, we strive to empower individuals to lead more independent and fulfilling lives.
