Who We Are
Kid’s Place Child Advocacy Center, a non-profit 501(c)(3) agency, opened in Lawrence County, TN in 1998. Kid’s Place Child Advocacy Center specializes in serving child victims of sexual abuse and severe physical abuse and their non-offending family members in the 22nd Judicial District, which includes Lawrence, Giles, Wayne and Maury counties in Southern Middle Tennessee. Our Services include: 1) Investigative Interview 2) Forensic Medical Exams at our Center (services delivered by collaborating partner Our Kid’s based in Nashville) 3) Evidence Based Therapy for Child Victims 4) Family Advocate Services for Non-Offending Caregivers Court Preparation and Support through the Legal Process 5) Free Prevention and Community Awareness Programs. The services offered by Kid’s Place are free of charge to the families we serve.
