Who We Are
We are caring people who invest in the lives of women desiring a life transformation. Bridges to Recovery is a female residential addiction recovery program. The recovery program accepts women from East Tennessee counties Campbell, Claiborne, Fentress, Scott, and Union counties, which aligns with the jurisdiction of the 8th Judicial District Recovery Court of Tennessee. We also accept women from other states or counties.
What We Do
We staff the facility 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and operate a structured nine-month, 5-phase curriculum requiring the residents to attend classes, self-help meetings, and church services. We help residents find employment and teach them to manage a budget to pay off fines, court costs, child support, etc. to prepare them for re-entry into the community. We provide transportation to employment, church services, personal appointments, etc. In addition, residents are responsible for meal planning and preparation and are assigned household chores. At the end of the program, a graduation ceremony is held to celebrate the graduates.
