Recreation Activity Sponsorship

We are looking for businesses, community groups, civic organizations, clubs, fraternities, sororities, etc. to sponsor recreation activities for inpatient Veterans at the Nashville VA Medical Center. Examples of activities could include providing a pizza party, holding a bingo, sponsoring a movie night, etc. Organizations who have sponsored past activities have provided prizes for bingo (such as coupon books that can be used at our on site retail store) and refreshments. Groups sponsoring these activities would also volunteer during the activity. Some tasks could include assisting Veterans with their bingo cards, serving refreshments, pushing patients in wheelchairs to the event location, etc.
