Volunteer as a Blood Donor Ambassador and discover a new purpose as a member of a lifesaving team to help support blood collections in your neighborhood.
Key Responsibilities:
- Willingness to support Red Cross Mission
- Donor receptionists welcomes donors, help check-in donors, distribute required reading material, and maintain a smooth donor flow
- Offer refreshments to donors, alert the collection staff if a donor needs assistance, and thanks the donor for their donation
- Ensures donors have a positive experience
Time Commitment: Red Cross Blood Donor Ambassadors will typically fulfill a 4-6 hour shift, depending on the event. Please consider volunteering once or twice a month, for a few months.
Please note all volunteers must pass a background check.
