Time 4 to 12 hours each day of disaster, based on your availability

Description

When disaster strikes—whether it’s a home fire, flood or storm—your neighbors need you.

You’ll help create a safe, welcoming environment for people displaced by disasters. Volunteering in Red Cross shelters, you’ll support day-to-day operations—whether it’s greeting clients, assisting with registration, serving meals, managing dormitory spaces, or providing information and support.

No experience needed! Free online training will be provided to everyone that signs up as a volunteer. If the need arises, volunteers are asked to commit to local shifts of 4 to 12 hours each, based on your availability.

Start your volunteer profile here and complete your Background Check- we'll take it up from there!
