What We Do

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals affected by multiple sclerosis (MS) and funding research to find a cure. Founded in 1946 by Sylvia Lawry, the NMSS aims to improve the lives of people with MS through various initiatives, including funding research, providing support services, and advocating for social and political change. The organization was established in response to the lack of resources available for individuals living with MS, and it has since grown to become a leading resource in the field MS Navigator® Your gift allows MS Navigators to provide support to everyone affected by MS. Education Programs and Library Your donations help us provide accurate and current information to those affected by MS.
